About us

Professor Dr. Ralph O. Schill founded envirocom in 2016. He is an extraordinary professor at the Institute for Biomaterials and Biomolecular Systems at the University of Stuttgart. His research focuses on biodiversity and the analysis of how animals respond to environmental stressors, as well as how these responses impact their organisms and entire ecosystems. Since 2006, he has been involved in the board of the Society for Biological Systematics (GfBS).

Professor Dr. Schill volunteered for eight years as the President of the Scientific Committee and Board Member of the World Underwater Federation CMAS (Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques). During this time, he fostered successful collaborations with numerous international organizations. In his 16-year tenure on the board of the German Underwater Federation (VDST), he was responsible for the Environmental & Science department. Currently, he is a member of the Commission for Underwater and Wetland Archaeology (KUFA) and a co-founder of the non-profit research and education organization aquatil.

Together with his envirocom team, Professor Dr. Schill provides comprehensive services in the areas of communication, consulting, education, and research.
